People Stuff with Zoë Routh
In business your biggest obstacle are always around these two areas; growing revenue v’s profit and growing your dream-team.
As soon as you start to grow your team you realise pretty quickly, the more you master your communication skills the better you can lead your team.
Zoë Routh known to many as one of Australia’s leading expert in leadership; shares “How we do the people stuff, really matters” so much so her latest book ‘People Stuff’ was awarded Best Management and HR book of the year.
Many women in business deal with high amounts of stress…on a daily basis. Part of this stress is learning to deal with different behaviour, conflicts, motivators of our team. Understanding what sparks the flight and fight responses is the difference in how we can truly help you and your team thrive. This is what Zoë calls The 4 Devils and has dedicate a large portion of her book giving examples of how to harness these skills.
Also in this episode Zoë unveils her 5 Archetypes Of Leadership. Walking us through each Archetype and the power behind knowing when it’s required to sit in each area and why.
If you have a team of staff or starting to grow your team in anyway shape or form (as let’s face it; many of us have moved to more of a virtual office these days), you’ll find this interview extremely impactful, and I’d say it’s a must listen and also grab Zoë’s book People stuff.
Enjoy xx
