3 Rules To Excellence

We can either have no rules or too many rules.

But know this, when we don’t have any rules to follow in life things can start to go haywire.

What I mean by that is, we start to let too many things slip; such as our diet, exercise or in our business from continual not making the next sales call to bring the cash in.

Today, I share the simple rules to excellence.

Helping you clean up your act for 2021 …but in a super exciting way to help you create major momentum and change.

Australian Writers’ Centre with Valerie Khoo

One of the most powerful gifts you can have as a businesswoman is being able to sense your internal compass. Knowing when it’s not pointing to your true north and being pulled to fix it so you are feeling in the right place again.

Valerie Khoo knows too well this feeling as she continually conquers new facets in her career. Valerie Khoo is an artist, designer and writer.

For the past 15 years, she has been CEO of the Australian Writers’ Centre, the country’s leading centre for writing courses. She continues in this role, leading a team of presenters who have taught more than 50,000 students across Australia.

More recently, Valerie pursued her passion for art and design. Her original art has been featured in group and solo exhibitions, shortlisted for art prizes and is now licensed by companies all over the world. It appears on wallpaper, textiles, décor, products and wall art. Valerie was also appointed the City of Sydney’s Curator of the Sydney Lunar Festival for 2019 and 2020, an arts and culture festival that attracts almost 1.5 million people and is the third largest annual event in Sydney, after NYE fireworks and Vivid.

About Laleh Hancock

Laleh Hancock has a diverse background as the Founder and CEO of two companies and a global speaker – who was traveling in Portugal (and is still stuck there) due to COVID-19.

With nearly 30 years’ experience in operational excellence, change management and business consulting, Laleh has inspired and empowered millions of individuals including Fortune 500 executives, government agencies, non-profit organizations, athletes and veterans.

A highly respected executive and leadership coach, Laleh has a particular interest in supporting and encouraging the leadership capabilities of women – in business, in the workplace, at home and in the wider community. She is featured alongside luminaries such as Oprah Winfrey, Melinda Gates, and Ginni Rometty in the 2019 publication, America’s Leading Ladies: Stories of courage, challenge and triumph.

Forced to flee Iran as a young girl, and eventually settling in the USA at the age of 11, Laleh’s personal story is testament to her intelligence, resilience and entrepreneurial aptitude. After striving for a career in healthcare for many years, a large earthquake in Los Angeles forced Laleh to completely rebuild her life and occupation. She soon found herself divorced and raising pre-school twins on her own. Bold and determined, Laleh leaped headfirst into a commission-only job in the male-dominated technology sector – a daring decision that sparked a highly-celebrated career in professional services, corporate leadership, recruitment and executive coaching.
