Fitcover ‘The Story Behind Sweat Proof make Up’
From fitness models to the everyday girl working out and posting on Instagram the conversation around wearing makeup when working out today is the norm.
Though the concept of Fitcover started way before Instagram was a BIG THING.
Yep, thats right …
As most amazing products that are launched; they usually always come from the founder searching to find an answer to their own pain.
Nova Jane, Founder of Fitcover, a natural mineral-based makeup to wear when you workout…and not clog the pores.
Nova was an acne sufferer who also LOVES to work out. Like every acne suffer being embarrassed of their acne, they are always looking at how they can fix it OR cover it up.
Though the more Nova covered it up, the worst it got. Especially when she was training at the gym.
Until one day it dawned on her ” Why isn’t there a mineral makeup that you can wear to the gym that ‘stays’ and doesn’t affect my skin”?
Today, Nova has built a huge following on Instagram, has a team of 6 staff helping pack and ship the Fitcover products all while she continues to build her workout makeup empire.
Fitcover is carving the way being the first in Australia to combine two massive markets together; ‘Health & Fitness’ and ‘Makeup’
In this interview, you’ll hear the journey of creating a new concept to the marketplace, all the way through to the importance of relying on your ‘gut’ even when everyone tells you it isn’t going to work.
Enjoy!
